In 1956 ukulele ace George Formby took part in top secret drug tests. The results were filmed for a proposed Elstree Comedy entitled “Why DO You Look Like A Donkey Our Vera?”.

It was a step too far for the cheeky chappie from Barnsley – the movie was scrapped and Formby never spoke of it again…. TURNED OUT STRANGE AGAIN MOTHER…
